How to Use This Worksheet

Before the Call

  1. Have your current CPM written on the quick reference card
  2. Know your minimum acceptable rate per mile

During the Call

  1. Fill in load information as the broker provides it
  2. Ask about ALL miles (don’t forget deadhead)
  3. Ask about fuel surcharge and accessorials
  4. Get pickup and delivery times

After the Call

  1. Complete the financial analysis section
  2. Calculate your rate per mile and profit
  3. Check the decision guide
  4. Consider other factors
